PLDT's fiber network is the most extensive in the Philippines, covering Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, and hundreds of cities and municipalities nationwide. As of 2026, PLDT has a total fiber footprint of over 1 million kilometers including 231,000 kilometers of international submarine cable lines and 860,000 kilometers of domestic fiber.
PLDT continues to expand its fiber network into provincial cities and suburban areas — if you are in an area currently without 1Gbps availability, it may become available within the next 6–12 months.
The 1Gbps tier is primarily available in urban and suburban areas with existing fiber infrastructure. Rural barangays and newer residential developments may only have access to lower-tier plans until PLDT completes its network expansion in those areas.
How to Check PLDT 1Gbps Availability at Your Address
- Visit pldthome.com/fiber and click "Check Availability"
- Enter your complete address including barangay and city
- Use the interactive map to pin your exact location
- The system will display available plans for your address

PLDT also supports international connectivity through the Jupiter submarine cable system (US-Transpacific, 14,000 km) and the Apricot cable system (12,000 km, connecting Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Guam). This international backbone infrastructure helps PLDT deliver consistent speeds for international browsing and content.
